Scientific Neutraceuticals, LLC was physician-founded by Dr. Roger Murray, M.D., fellow A.B.B.LM., P.A., who developed an innovative and revolutionary method to process raw milk without pasteurization; thus, preserving all the essential nutrients while killing any harmful bacteria. It is processed via a method of centrifugation, enzymatic emulsification, micro-filtration and ultra-micro-filtrated to sterility and then freeze dried. It is not pasteurized which destroys most of the active ingredients in colostrum.
Our competitors claim to use “light pasteurization” which is known as “Spray Drying” which involves shooting an extremely thin stream of fluid on to a highly heated drum of 240 degrees Fahrenheit, instantly evaporating the fluid and destroying the most important ingredients, leaving only next to worthless colostrum powder.
Proteins denature (in other words, they become unraveled) with almost any heat above 150 to 160 degrees Fahrenheit, making them lose most, if not all, of their functioning properties. When we had our cold-processed bovine colostrum analyzed versus the pasteurized ones, the latter had only an average of one-seventh the functioning properties of the cold-processed.

Dr. Murray has always been interested in scientific research and nutraceuticals. After founding Scientific Nutraceuticals, LLC in 2005, he traveled widely, learning everything he could about the effects of nutrition on overall health and well being.
He was first introduced to the benefits of bovine colostrum at a medical conference in Germany. He was fascinated by the potential it held to boost immunity, strengthen bone and muscle, decrease recovery time, and reduce inflammation.
As part of his research process, he and his research partners tested samples of colostrum straight from the cow and samples "after" pasteurization.

Centrifugation
Raw colostrum from E.U. Certified Organic cows are centrifuged to separate the bacteria, fat and casein from the bioactive components.
Enzymatic Emulsification
Using an enzymatic emulsification process, fats and casein are removed.
Micro-Filtration & Ultra-Micro-Filtration
Colostrum is filtered to sterility under refrigeration all the way down to filters that are 0.2 microns – smaller than any normal bacteria. It takes longer, but the nutritional value is worth it.
Freeze Dried
The remaining sterile, nutrient rich colostrum is then freeze dried and made into powder for capsules or liquid reconstitution.
